Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is a faith-based movement passionate about family preservation to keep children safe and families together. Every year, thousands of families find themselves in crisis without any safe people they can call for help. We partner with churches to mobilize volunteers to become the caring, compassionate communities for these parents so they can get back on their feet and stay with their children. Our main objectives are family support and stabilization, preventing abuse and neglect, and deflecting children from unnecessarily entering the foster care system. Our unique model brings local churches and communities together to protect children and preserve families. People can volunteer as Host Families, Family Friends, Family Coaches or Resource Friends. They can invite us to speak to their friends, small group or church, or donate to keep us privately funded.
